Scam Au Pair Email
Please read emails below. These Emails were sent us by one english family,
which sent this "Au Pair"
money. The family did not get the money back. Please do not send any money to Au Pairs in advance. This simply rule 100% efficient.
Hi S.,
Thanks for your mail. I will like to let you know that if you don't send me the
money,i shall still be able to come someday but not as we planned.
Please,i will like to waste your time. I cannot have 192 euros between today
and Monday. Go ahead and interview other candidates. If i don't get the 192
euros,i shall send your money back by western union as i promised. But as soon
as i get the 192 euros,i shall buy a ticket to leave soonest. 192 euros is what
separates me from you. I never knew things will turn out this way. I wish i
could be that au oair in your lovely family.
Thanks,
Nicki
Hi Nicki,
Thanks for your email. From your previous emails I was under the impression that
if I couldn't send you the extra money then you wouldn't be able to come. Has this
situation changed? I'm scheduled to interview a couple of Au Pairs on Monday so
I'll need to know whether to go ahead and offer the position to someone else or
not.
Hi S.,
Ok,i understand you very well. If it doesn't work out today or tomorrow,i will
send your money back (minus 192 euros) as you said.
Please we are having difficulties with internet connection here;that is why my
replies are so late.
Thanks,
Nicki
Hi Nicki,
I understand that it's impossible for you to borrow the 192 euros. I hope you also
understand that it's impossible for me to send you any more money. Therefore, the
best solution seems to be that you send back to me the rest of the money via
Western Union (of course you can subtract the 192 euros from it). I sent you £230
(331 euros) as shown below.
I guess the positive thing out of this is I've paid for your vaccines so you don't
have to worry about that when you find a family and you have to travel out of the
country.
It's a real shame we can't work together. My family were very excited about you
joining us but now it looks unlikely.
I wish you all the best in finding a family. I have to start again to look for an
Au Pair and I doubt that I can find anyone as good as you.
Hi Nicki,
Coming here after 11 Nov is fine. However, we'll not want to send anymore money
till you're here with us. This means that if you borrow money from someone (even
perhaps your current family or another family member), then we will send the money
back to them via Western unoin when you arrive. I hope you understand our
position.
